"I have had the privilege of knowing Dr. Aury Nagy for many years, watching his development from a promising young student in Las Vegas into one of Nevada’s most accomplished neurosurgeons and respected public servants. His academic path—from Bishop Gorman High School to Yale University and Baylor College of Medicine—reflects a lifelong commitment to excellence, discipline, and service. He went on to complete rigorous neurosurgical training and has since provided outstanding care to thousands of Nevadans with professionalism, technical mastery, and deep compassion.

Dr. Nagy has also demonstrated an unwavering dedication to public service. His contributions to the White House Medical Corps, his leadership within Nevada’s neurosurgical community, and his tenure on the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, culminating in his service as President, speak to his integrity, judgment, and commitment to safeguarding the standards of our profession.
