"Terry Chavis has remained one of the most impactful leaders and mentors I have had the privilege to know. As my former first sergeant in the Army, he consistently demonstrated the highest standards of leadership, professionalism, and personal character. He is the type of leader who never hesitated to invest in his Soldiers, offering guidance, support, and steady leadership in a way that left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to serve under him.

Even in retirement, his influence has continued. Since I have been living in San Antonio, he has become again a valued mentor in my life, always willing to share wisdom, perspective, and encouragement. What has always stood out to me is his genuine commitment to people. He leads with experience, humility, and integrity, and his ability to motivate, advise, and develop others speaks volumes about the type of person and leader he is.
