I am a social and political theorist with expertise in Hegel. I hold a B.A. in Politics and History with First Class Honours from Queen Mary and Westfield College of the University of London, an M.Sc. in Social and Political Theory with Distinction from The University of Edinburgh and a D.Phil. in Politics from the University of Oxford. I have published articles on Hegel and Foucault in academic journals, edited collections and conference proceedings. Moreover, I have authored the following books: 'Midwifery' and Criticism in G. W. F. Hegel's "Phenomenology of Spirit" (Sankt Augustin: Academia Verlag, 2012), Plato's Political Philosophy (Exeter and Charlottesville: Imprint Academic, 2012), Modern Theories of Politics (Oxford: Peter Lang, 2013) and Hegel's Phenomenology and Foucault's Genealogy (Farnham: Ashgate, 2015; Routledge 2016; paperback by Routledge 2020). I have also edited three collections: Political Theory: The State of the Discipline (Newcastle Upon Tyne: Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2013), The Young Hegel and Religion (Oxford: Peter Lang, 2017) and Hegel's Political Philosophy: Themes and Interpretations (Oxford: Peter Lang, 2022). In addition, I have presented my work at national and international conferences.
