Duties include:
Disputes:

The initial loading of disputes on the TPN Dispute Manager System will be logged by the Legal Administrator; there after the TPN Attorney will own the dispute process.
Liaise with consumer and client regarding the collection of all credible evidence to ensure the dispute can be fully and accurately resolved.
Review and provide legal advice on all dispute documentation provided, telephonically or via electronic mail.
Ensure the resolution of disputes within the 20 business day period so as not to exceed time limits as set by the NCA.
Close disputes fairly, taking into account the evidence received, the requirements of the NCA and any other relevant legislation.
Liaise with TransUnion (TU) to update / remove any listing which was loaded on the TU database.
Liaise with Credit Ombudsman (Ombud) / National Credit Regulator (NCR) for disputes which have been escalated – ensure TPN provides properly summarised, documented and categorised response which best assists the Ombud / NCR in making the same finding as TPN.
Send monthly Dispute Report to the NCR.

LEGAL CLIENT SUPPORT

Handle email / telephonic legal queries from clients as well as from consumers; and return client calls.
Review, maintain and update: TPN Wiki, FAQs
Contribute towards newsletters, legal articles and blog posts (MRI Marketing department will support)

DOCUMENT PACK MANAGEMENT 

Management of TPN’s respective Lease, Sales and HR Packs:
Maintain latest word version of LeasePack as version control to Website documents.
Manage all change requests for bi-monthly re-view.
Liaise with drafting attorney on agreed change requests.
Provide training to members of the TPN Credit Bureau on all legal documentation provided in the TPN LeasePack, and where amendments are to be made, refer Clients to the relevant attorney to ensure he/she drafts and amends such clauses in accordance with current legislation.
Develop training programs and provide such training to clients on the relevant Packs.
Maintain a list of TPN customer’s LeasePack(s) suggestions for bi-monthly LeasePack(s) review. Notify customer of successful / rejected suggestion.

AD HOC DUTIES

Handle regulator audits and queries as and when they arise.
Provide legal support to the business teams
Developing and reviewing internal policy documents relating to the Bureau.
