Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher: Early Childhood Education Teacher � Leave Replacement
GENERAL STATEMENTOF JOB:Dutchess BOCES Career & Technical Institute (CTI) is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and student-centered Early Childhood Education Teacher for a leave replacement assignment.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:        •    Position Type: Full-Time, Leave Replacement•    Anticipated Start Date: October 2026•    Anticipated End Date: January 2027
REPORTS TO/ EVALUATION:        Principal or designee.                 SUPERVISES:     N/A        
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:    •    Candidates must hold New York State certification •    Demonstrated knowledge and experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related field.•    Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.•    Ability to establish positive relationships with high school students and maintain a safe and productive learning environment.•    Commitment to hands-on, career-focused instruction and student success.
SALARY: $64,868 - $85,536 approximate (BOCES Faculty Association contract)
CONTRACT: This is a temporary, leave replacement position. The appointment is subject to the terms and conditions established by Dutchess BOCES and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
