Position Overview

We are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the agency, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. He or She will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide timely financial insights that support strategic decision-making

Key Duties and Responsibilities


Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Handle accounts payables and receivables, including client invoicing and supplier payments.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Process payroll and statutory deductions in compliance with local regulations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
Assist in preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
Monitor project budgets and report on financial performance.
Maintain and update financial systems and software.


Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum qualification -CPA Section 4
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within a marketing, communications, or creative agency.
Proficiency in accounting softwares and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
