  • Wane Rusagara Eric is a humanitarian leader, social entrepreneur, Early Childhood Two-Generation (2Gen) consultant, and creative professional with extensive experience across community development, ECD systems strengthening, organizational consulting, and creative media for social change. He currently works as a Consultant at PHB, while also leading and co-founding multiple community-driven and creative initiatives in Uganda.
  • Wane is the Founder and Managing Director of Changia Africa Organization Ltd, a refugee-led organization advancing Early Childhood Development, two-generation programming, caregiver and parent economic empowerment, peacebuilding, and community leadership within refugee and host communities. In this role, he provides strategic leadership, program design, partnership development, training, mentoring, and oversight of implementation, with a strong focus on sustainability and community ownership.
  • In parallel, Wane serves as an Early Childhood Two-Generation Consultant at PHB, where he supports the design and implementation of 2Gen ECD approaches. His consultancy work includes strengthening Centre Management Committees (CMCs), improving parent and caregiver engagement, integrating livelihoods into ECD programming, facilitating learning and adaptation (PDCA), and providing technical guidance, coaching, and capacity building to ECD actors and community structures.
  • Wane also works as a Consultant to Ahana Orphanage, Uganda, offering advisory support in organizational development, child-centered programming, caregiver capacity building, and sustainable care models for orphaned and vulnerable children.
  • Alongside his development and consultancy work, Wane is a film director, actor, writer, and producer. He began his creative career Since in his country congo when he fled reaching in Uganda he co-founded Nakivale Movies Company with his friend, where he used film and performance to promote peace, social awareness, and youth empowerment. He later founded Wane The Greatest Filmz, a production brand dedicated to storytelling for social impact, and expanded this work through Changia Creatives Universe, a creative hub that links arts, media, entrepreneurship, and advocacy while nurturing young creative talent.
