We are looking for a smart and efficient Runner to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Runners’ core duties involve delivering food from the kitchen to service staff /customers and provide excellent customer service; it will also include
• Picking up food and drink orders placed by the service staff and delivering them to guests. • Assisting the bar, kitchen and service staff to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation and timing to optimize our guests dining experience. • Assisting the waiter/waitress on duty as needed to optimize the guest’s dining experience. • Accomplishing all duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift. • Reporting any unsafe condition, unsafe act, accidents and/or injuries to the chef or other manager on duty. • Correctly completing closing duties at the end of each shift. • Assist bar, chef, and other kitchen personnel in accomplishing closing duties of bar and kitchen cleanliness • Coordinating with servers and cooks to ensure prompt service, including serving meals and clearing tables when needed • Supporting the kitchen staff during the busier times of the day with washing dishes if needed • Supporting servers by arranging tables for large parties and scheduled gatherings when needed • Updating the specials board each morning • Observing tables and alert servers if guests need drink refills or other assistance
Qualification Required & Experience
REQUIREMENTS
• Candidate must possess a minimum qualification of Secondary High School Certificate • Some level of experience in the Hospitality industry will be an advantage. • Effective communication and active listening skills • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time • Self-motivated with a high energy level
REMUNERATION
Qualified candidate will be paid a monthly salary range of GHS800 – GHS1000, with Service Charge, Overtime, SSNIT Contribution payment, hospital allowance and staff lunch.
