Responsible for assisting and providing administrative support for pastors and/or departments. This multi-task, fast-paced position requires a working knowledge of all administrative and clerical procedures of Gateway Church. This role coordinates details related to ministry events, maintains calendars, schedules appointments, returns phone calls, and responds to emails. A basic understanding of project management and people-tracking software is required (training provided). Excellent time management and communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with planning, preparation, and helping run Wednesday night services, including coordinating logistics, materials, and volunteers to help facilitate the night smoothly.

- Maintain a record of actual monthly expenses.

- Maintain and submit monthly expense reports.

- Update and maintain calendars; and set up meetings.

- Schedule and oversee details for leadership meetings, retreats, prayer meetings, and group leader meetings/trainings.

- Send out weekly (or as needed) communication to leaders.

- Enter attendance into church metrics.

- Send the budget approved for décor to the event coordinator.

- Send headcount for all staff meals to the food coordinator.
