Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required


A Medical Degree is required for the City of Johannesburg role.
A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Public Health, Social Work, Health or Business  Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years of experience in HIV/TB/PMTCT programmes, with at least 5 years at a senior management level overseeing large, complex projects and managing substantial budgets.
In-depth knowledge of HIV/TB prevention guidelines, the 95-95-95 strategy, and related health policies.
Familiarity with PEPFAR HIV/TB programme performance indicators.
Proven leadership skills with a successful track record in team and stakeholder management.
Previous experience working with the Department of Health and a thorough understanding of Health Systems in Gauteng.
Ability to travel regularly as required.
Valid registration with a professional body (HPCSA, SANC)
