Job Summary:

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail collecting data and information, doing extension work during farm visits and farmer trainings, participating in field days and agricultural shows that disseminate livestock production technologies and carrying out practical demonstrations on livestock production technologies and techniques.

Qualifications:

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;


Certificate in any of the following disciplines; Animal Health and Production, Dairy Technology, Animal Science, Agriculture, Apiculture or Range Management from a recognized institution; and
Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
