 Key Performance Outputs

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager Enterprise architecture  and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:


Design compelling user interfaces in alignment with the business’ strategic objective and requirements.
Understand and translate requirements into a standard solution offering, solution plans, proposal and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of offerings.
Ensure solutions are designed as per business requirements and as per enterprise IT standards; with minimum and agreed variance from functional and technical specifications.
Collaborate with project teams to plan and the overall delivery architecture and capabilities to support the service offerings.
Deploy new architecture and capabilities across the teams required for service offerings.
Interact with the delivery organisation/s to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver.
Design various integration programs and prepare required documents to execute various integration platforms. Assist with integration processes and design various architecture programs for all application layers.
Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships (government, authorities and agencies) to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required.
Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
Plan, schedule, supervise and coach subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals.


Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive working environment.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:


Matric - Essential
Bachelors Degree – Information Technology - Essential
National Certificate – Recognised architecture framework certification (e.g. Zachman/TOGAF) – Recommended
3 years Operational experience – Solution and Integration Architect – Essential
Working Knowledge of Aviation/Transport industries as well as technology trends and appreciation of the dynamics of the public sector.
Understanding of complex logic and workflow design
