Operate conventional milling machine, grinding machine, lathe
Perform mould repairs and maintenance per quality system requirements 
Assure that the quality of the parts being moulded meet part specifications including part drawing, and cosmetic specification. 
Follow all safety requirements and ensure all safety devises in mould room are operational. Shut down, lock out equipment and inform supervisor if safety device is found defective. 
To perform and carry out Preventative Maintenance tasks according to schedules and procedures.
Report all potential machine problems and malfunction of equipment in order to reduce unnecessary breakdowns.
To record the spares usage during all P/M and servicing of mould to promote better cost control and future planning.
To adopt and propagate a positive approach towards P/M and to understand and appreciate the advantage thereof.
To work in conjunction with Production Staff and Process tech's to ensure optimum machine performance and eliminate unnecessary stoppages or breakdowns.
Assist and educate, where possible, the correct handling and approach towards machine and equipment.
To be familiar with all laid down quality standards and the maintaining thereof.
To repair mould breakdowns as speedily as possible without sacrificing good craftsmanship or safety.
Participate in all projects concerned with refurbishing, upgrade or installation of new or secondhand moulds, machinery or equipment as and when required.
Strive to find new ideas or improve methods to increase production output or be more cost effective.
To maintain proper communication and progress of outstanding workloads.


What makes you great


3 to 5 years' experience in a technical field, preferably within injection, stretch or blow moulding
Preferred qualified Toolmaker trade
Good English skills, written and oral local langague skills are required
Ability to read technical drawings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
