Responsibilities

Monitor the surveillance cameras and escalate any issues to management.
Ensure that staff comply with all company security policies and procedures.
Respond to security incidents, such as alarms and suspicious activity, and take appropriate action.
Conduct security checks of buildings and grounds to identify and report any safety hazards or potential security breaches.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour while interacting with staff, visitors, and vendors.

Qualifications

A minimum of OND in any field.
Proven computer literacy and proficiency in reviewing surveillance cameras.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a security officer role or a related field.
Strong observation skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new security protocols and technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
