Job Description:
We are seeking a head of finance to help us grow profitably, create and implement financial policies, supervise the accounts department, and provide financial advisory to our executive directors.

Supervise the accounting to ensure accurate financial records are kept
Supervise the use of accounting software like Quickbooks by the accounts team
Analyze financial data including profits and costs
Calculate the cost per unit of production, marketing, and delivery and sustain these at optimum levels.
Create detailed financial plans on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Create, defend, and implement financial budgets to ensure profitability
Lead monthly financial reporting, planning, and budget meetings
Supervise the company's charity policy and ensure it's impactful
Lead the company's relationship with banks and other financial houses
Develop a strategic investment policy and implement it
Come up with a sustainable petty cash policy and block cash leaks
Conducting risk management

Requirements:

First degree in Accounting, Banking and finance, Economics, or a similar financial field
Postgraduate finance certifications like CFA
Proven experience as a finance analyst or senior finance role
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Extensive knowledge of Quickbooks or similar accounting software.
Advanced use of Microsoft Excel or Google sheets
Should reside near Ikeja
Should be willing to work 23 days a month
Should be able to work on some weekends and public holidays
Should be agile, smart, and deeply analytical
