*Requirements*

Preparation of financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Prepare high-quality reports as client engagement deliverables.
Provide accounting advice and support to internal teams on tax engagements.
Maintain strong relationships with new and established clients.
Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
Manage and maintain the company's tax database.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by forwarding required the necessary information to authorities.
Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
Keep track of industry trends and changes relating to taxes. 
Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.

*Qualifications and Experience*

B.sc/HND Accounting
Minimum of 2 years post-graduation/qualification experience preferably in a consulting firm
ACA/ACCA /ACIT qualification is a plus
Self-starter with minimal need for supervision
Robust working knowledge of Nigeria's Tax laws is important.
Familiarization with IASs/IFRSs very important
Good team player
Relevant IT skills (working with Accounting Software and Microsoft packages)
Candidate must be based in Abuja.
