Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative Support for Project Management:


Develop a template/system for other teams to request CIEA support.
Track and allocate tasks within the CIEA team, ensuring clear ownership and deadlines.


Research and Reporting:


Compile summaries, reports, and insights to aid strategic decision-making.


Event Support:


Assist in organizing webinars, workshops, and press conferences.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, prepare materials, and follow up with participants.


Media Relations:


Maintain and update media contact lists.
Draft media pitches and track media coverage.


General Communications Support:


Assist in content creation for internal and external communications, including newsletters and social media updates.
Support the team in preparing presentations and briefing documents.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:


Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, development studies, or a related field.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in event planning or media relations is a plus
