Install and configure server software and hardware.
Manage network servers and technology tools.
Set up accounts for new ACE HPC users.
Provide technical support to ACE HPC users
Monitor performance and maintain systems.
Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies, such as Slurm.
Build and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
Attend cyberinfrastructure and change request meetings.
Provide IT technical support to bioinformatics lecturers and trainers during workshops held at the ACE.
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
