Job Purpose
The role will involve working closely with patients to understand their vision needs and providing personalized care to improve their overall eye health.
The duties and responsibilities shall include:

Carry out refraction and prescribe correct spectacles
Assist patients in selecting a preferred frame that suits their prescription, personal preference etc.
Referring patients to medical practitioners as necessary
Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures.
Gather patients’ medical history and perform clinical assessment to develop a better patients health profile
Participate in medical camps and community outreach programs
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Diploma in Optometry from recognized institution
At least 3 years’ experience in optometry practice
Proficiency in computer applications
Meets the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution
