Jomoro Rural Bank PLC is seeking suitably qualified persons for the following position: Head, Internal Audit
Job Description
• Assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the bank's internal controls • Developing an effective risk-based audit programmes for approval by the board • Identifying and reducing all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls • Undertaking periodic auditing of all the activities of the bank • Issuing audit reports and following up on the implementation of audit recommendations • Undertaking special investigations and any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualification Required & Experience
• Post-graduate degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance • Professional qualification in Accounting or Auditing will be an added advantage • Minimum of 5 years of working experience as an auditor in a senior position • Working knowledge in T24 Banking Application • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Proficiency in IT and systems audit • Excellent oral and written communication skills
