Our Client is an International School located in Lagos, seeking to employ a caring, responsible, and approachable Male Hostel Parent to provide pastoral care, supervision, and support to male students residing in the hostel. The ideal candidate will create a safe and nurturing environment, foster discipline, and ensure the well-being of the students.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Live-in
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor students' daily routines, including study periods, meals, and leisure activities.
Ensure students adhere to hostel rules and maintain discipline.
Provide emotional support and guidance to students.
Address any issues related to student welfare and safety.
Collaborate with school staff to support students' academic and personal development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Previous experience working with adolescents or in a residential setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle emergencies and provide first aid if necessary.
A positive, compassionate, and firm approach to managing students.
