Customer (otogas or bulk) complaints handling
Otogas Planned Maintenance
Reading and understanding P&I Drawings
Reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and manuals
Mechanical and pipe welding works – Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) mainly but may do others
Constructing and joining structural components
Fabricating and assembling of pipes, pipe fittings etc for modifications.
Hydrotesting/Pneumatic testing of pipelines when needed
Inspection of mechanical spares delivered to ensure they meet the quality standards
Adherence to HSE requirements at workplace
Daily/weekly activity reports preparation
Supervision of maintenance contractors
Preparation of preventive maintenance schedules
Control of Otogas Maintenance Spares
Any other duty assigned by immediate supervisor.


Qualifications


A Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience in Autogas dispenser maintenance
Experience in equipment and plant maintenance
Experience in LPG installations, especially in Autogas, is an added advantage
Experience in other welding is an added advantage
Knowledge of handling welding, lifting and work at height tools and equipment

Ability to work independently/without supervision
Ability to be on standby to respond to complaints 24hrs
Ability to work under pressure to meet strict timelines
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Able to communicate in English & Swahili
