Organizing and holding community engagement meetings at sub-country and parish levels for the recruitment of households into the project tree planting program.
Participatory selection, training, and supervision of 9 volunteer farmer coordinators (3 per sub-county) to support the monitoring of all farmers recruited in the program.
Lead the review, monitoring and mapping of all parcels recruited into the tree-growing program to ensure formal recruitment into the Trees for Global Benefit (TGB) carbon program.
Ensuring the effective distribution and planting of tree seedlings to all HHs recruited into the program and regular monitoring ensure a survival rate of not less than 80%.
Organizing and conducting regular farmer feedback meetings for real-time feedback from the farmers on the effectiveness of all project activities.
Ensure the establishment of at least one farmers’ Centre of Excellence for Peer Learning and Extension Services (CEPLES) per sub-county over the 4 years of project life
