Job Purpose

Serves as a board operator and/or call screener for various programming shows, ensuring calls received during programmes are accurate with good audio quality.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Handles the studio lines and forward calls to the studio while programmes are going on
Handles heavy phone calls from listeners and interact with them in a professional and courteous manner.
Responsible for screening phone calls to ensure company guidelines and policies are adhered to.
Ensures the environment for the call is suitable before forwarding to the studio
Registers caller’s name and location on the software before transferring to the studio
Responsible for data mining by maintaining an updated callers’ list on a spreadsheet
