Responsibilities

We are searching for a capable and trustworthy science teacher to join our online schooling platform. The science teacher’s responsibilities include developing interesting lesson plans and curricula, collaborating with other teachers, completing student assessments, and addressing any performance issues.
You should be able to teach students from varied cultural backgrounds and handle sensitive lessons without being squeamish.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and delivering quality lesson plans and curricula that adhere to national and school guidelines.
Drawing up suitable assessments and delivering helpful feedback to students and the company.
Establishing classroomand ensuring that all students understand what is expected of them.
Setting up demonstrations and assisting and supervising students while they conduct experiments.
Providing extra resources, support, and interventions for students who are struggling.
Grading tests/exams, updating records, and handling various administrative tasks.
Creating an online environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and voicing concerns.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Education, Biology, or a related degree.
Proven work experience as a Science Teacher, Mathematics Teacher, or a similar role in the Education department.
A professional teaching license is mandatory.
Formal training or apprenticeship will be an advantage.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management abilities.
Ability to multitask efficiently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Sound knowledge and experience using various teaching aids.
Ability to work in tense situations.
Good interpersonal and time management skills.
A patient and creative individual.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and online classroom management software.
Ability to work independently with no minimal supervision.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
