The consultant will work under the overall guidance of the Director of ERSKID, and will be responsible for the following duties:


Research and policy analysis on selected urban and housing themes relevant to WUF aligned with the New Urban Agenda and SDG 11
Compilation and analytics of data in support of the preparation of substantive sessions at WUF
Research and coordination support to the curation of high-level events taking place at WUF including on the New Urban Agenda
Substantive and coordination support for the organization of the main sessions of the WUF overseen by the Director of ERSKID
Substantive support for the impact strategy and monitoring of WUF impact
Substantive and coordination support for the preparation of the WUF outcome documents
Substantive and organisational support for a city leaders and Mayors track at WUF
Support the mobilization and engagement of partners including the WUF Alumni and pri-vate sector
Technical support and inputs to the internal WUF13 Task Force and Operational Task Force
Research and coordination support for effective stakeholder engagement towards WUF


Qualifications/special skills


Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in business administration, public administration, environmental studies, economics, urban planning, social science or a related field is required.
Minimum of five years of varied experiences with international organizations and/or significant previous background in institutional environment of development cooperation (NGOs, UN sys-tem, multilateral cooperation, etc.) is required. Technical expertise in sustainable development is required.
Knowledge and experience in stakeholder engagement is required Programme coordination and partnerships experience is required
