KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must have a Ph.D. degree or its academic equivalent in the relevant field from accredited and recognized University. 
Must demonstrate exemplary research, teaching and academic /relevant industrial experience in the relevant field; 
Must show proof of having taught in a university for at least 3 years since becoming a Senior Lecturer.
A minimum of forty eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent of which at least thirty two (32) should be from refereed scholarly journals
Must have successfully supervised a minimum of four (4) postgraduate students to completion including at least one doctoral student.
Attracted Research or Development funds as a Senior Lecturer or Senior Research Fellow 
Should have attended and contributed at learned conferences, seminars or workshops;
Should show evidence of being a member of relevant professional bodies; 
Should show evidence of leadership (administrative experience, active participation in university, national and international activities);
Be of high ethical standards, integrity and professionalism. 
Must have been an Academic Leader for a minimum of three years.
