Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate the genotyping projects (low, mid, and high-density genotyping) of the banana team across the stations (Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria)
Coordinate and supervise the molecular lab research assistants, research technicians, casuals, interns, and trainees.
Liaise with the field research associates for all phenotype trial linked to molecular banana breeding.
Work with the data curators to upload the genotyping projects and results in Musabase.
Analyze routine molecular data and produce comprehensive reports on the data.
Liaise with the lab/ field technicians from other banana stations for an easy flow of communication.
