Job Description:

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):


Monitor and manage stuck queues in the Queue Remote Function Call (QRFC) related to receiving, put away, picking, and dispatch processes as well as difference analyzer postings.
Monitor and manage overdue inbound and outbound deliveries, not started and partially completed.
Monitor and manage open put away and picking task older than 24 hours.
Monitor and manage stock located in inbound and outbound staging areas for longer than 24 hours.
Monitor and manage all materials where the inbound warehouse indicators are incomplete.
Monitor and manage all warehouse tasks where materials are directed to overflow areas.
Create and manage bin locations as well as storage areas within the warehouse facility.
Monitor and manage warehouse orders created without an RF Queue.
Create and manage perpetual and periodic stock count warehouse orders.
Monitor stock count warehouse order completion.
Monitor and manage product master maintenance for pick-face replenishment relevant products.
Support the operations with investigations into stock gains/losses on the difference analyzer.
Monitor and manage the daily positing of stock gains/losses recorded on the difference analyzer
Support warehouse operators with queries and errors experienced whilst utilizing RF devices.
Investigate and support end users with queries raised against stock holding and warehouse activities.
Monitor and report on the overall warehouse performance through the KPI dashboard.
Assist the warehouse manager to optimize and improve on warehouse processes and strategies.
Monitor and clear exceptions and errors from the warehouse monitor.
Maintain warehouse specific Masterdata and new product storage strategies


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology 
Material Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Certificate or equivalent (at least 1 year)
Postgraduate qualification in SC Management, Logistics, Business -Desirable


Experience


Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
Practical experience with transacting and controlling SAP Extended Warehouse Management interfaces


Technical knowledge(experience) required for role:


Advanced level understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes, both from a physical and transactional point of view.
Experience with SAP systems, particularly in warehousing and inventory management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize warehouse operations and manage logistics effectively.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and tools

Developing skills in materials planning and driving performance.
Proficient skills in leading change, performance management & reporting
Competent skills in SC systems and processes, team management, project management and planning, technical analysis, safety knowledge, business acumen, stakeholder engagement and communication, data analytics, warehouse management, optimization Expert skills in SAP EWM and related systems.
