Minimum Requirements


Grade 12 or N3
2-3 years experience in a similar environment


Primary Duties


Uses gantry crane to fetch material for blasting
Blast parts to prepare for coat
Set up and operate a blast booth
Remove dirt,paint, grease and other built-up materials
Clean the shotblast machine
Blasting of allthat gets build by plumbers and welders eg valves,pipes, stub,dirt- boxes and meter rigs
Carry out safety and housekeeping inspections
Fill job cards, logbook and checklists
