POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of the Part-Time Tutor Basic cooking skills, Baking, Crocheting and Knittingis teaching participants introductory lessons on cake and pastries, and various food recipes that can easily be converted to an income-generating activity. The Tutor will be expected to teach 2 days a week for a period not exceeding 6 months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Instruct students in the basics of crocheting and knitting, helping them complete various projects.
Provide regular updates on participants' progress and report any concerns related to their safety and well-being immediately.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum certificate training in vocational training in the areas highlighted above. (Includes short courses, workshops, apprenticeships)

RELATED EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATION

1 year experience in a similar teaching role.
More than 1-year practical experience will be considered in lieu of certification.
Candidates should have experience working with children and young people, preferably in a teaching or tutoring capacity
A strong commitment to child protection and upholding participants' dignity is essential.
The ability to develop and follow lesson plans.
