He/ She will be responsible for tracking a company's financial performance against a plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports. He/ She will provide insights and support optimal business decision-making.
Responsibilities:

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Develop accurate financial plans and forecasts based on analyses of the business’s operational needs
Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast
Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance
Evaluate business proposal documents and examine revenue and expense projections, capital expenditures, and other financial concerns
Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modelling tools.
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments.
Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management.
Support departments with in-depth, data driven analysis
Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin.

Requirements:

A minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Finance, Accounts or Business Administration.
Minimum of 10-12 Management Accounting and Control experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
A postgraduate degree in a relevant field will be an advantage.
Membership of relevant professional bodies (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA).Do you fit this?
