A fascinating blend of research, planning, people skills and intuitive management, you as a Conference Producer will take ultimate responsibility for the success of an individual or series of events by making sure the intellectual content is right.

Job Description

Gets involved in writing Conference proposals and creating the actual shape and content of the event itself, so meticulous research and planning is central to the role.
Attracting relevant speakers and building relationships with industry people in order to be constantly aware of the burning topics and influences that could potentially translate into a compelling, rewarding and successful Conference.
Being able to accurately define the event's target audience and create communications material that will appeal to them and instigate a desire to attend.
Be in regular contact with sponsors and potential sponsors, providing them with regular updates and opportunities where they may be able to get involved.
Report to senior management in order that they may be presented with a top line summation of the event's practical and commercial progress.
Liaise with the Admin team for all logistical aspects of the event, the venue, catering etc
Research the commercial viability of an event and then to write an exciting, market driven conference agenda and invite the best speakers possible.
Analyse data and feedback to determine how successful the event was.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 3 years in organising international and local events and conferences
Relevant experience of undertaking marketing and corporate communications work.
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Strong project management skills with experience in working with internal teams to ensure success of an event
Ability to use an international network of contacts for commercial purposes
Demonstrable expertise in budgeting and managing projects to tight deadlines
Strong work ethic and attention to quality and detail
Ability to solve problems and successfully engage with appropriate technical and internal resources
Ability to juggle multiple programs through highly effective organisational skills
Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently.
