To support a rapidly growing regional office in Kampala, NAD is looking for a Programme Coordinator. The programme Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, planning, and implementation of the country programme in Uganda. The position also has a reporting line with NAD Oslo on programme work.

Ensure planning and implementation of the country programme
Support partners in formulating results framework and ensuring the set up of achievable targets
Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting for the programme and ensure timely submission of reports
Spearhead the monitoring and evaluation of the programme
Conduct periodic training in monitoring and evaluation for partner staff
Ensure smooth relationship and stakeholder management among implementing partners.
Act as a link between implementing partners in Uganda and NAD Oslo.
Take lead in ensuring collaboration between implementing partners in Uganda through joint planning, review meetings and reporting.
Support building synergies and a working relationship among thematic Working Groups on Human Rights Advocacy, Inclusive Education and Economic Empowerment.
Convening the Country Programme Committee meetings and ensuring timely dissemination of results from such meetings.
Monitor budgets regularly and participate in budget revisions periodically.
Monitor workplans to ensure the overall implementation of the programme in a timely manner.
Collating and writing periodic progress reports/monitoring from the implementing partners and sharing with NAD.
Coordinate annual reporting from the country level partners to NAD Oslo, while ensuring that the reporting reflects the country level results framework.
Coordinating baseline evaluations and research processes related to the country programme.
Support organizational and inter-organizational learning through coordination of learning visits.
Participate in proposal writing and applications for funding.
Participate and attend other stakeholders’ meetings and engagements.
