Job Description

The successful applicant shall:

Coordinate community caseworkers and linkage officers in OVC programming in line with the PEPFAR OVC guidance and implementation model and provide them with the required technical support.
Oversee assessment and enrollment of vulnerable children into the OVC program using case management tools
Create and maintain an up-to-date case file for each OVC ensuring documentation of case follow-up, achievement, and graduation.
Work with the community case workers to identify, assess, and enroll out-of-school children, for enrollment into school.
Ensure that older orphans and vulnerable children acquire technical and vocational skills to facilitate their entry into the labor market
Prepare and submit high-quality and timely reports to the National Programme Manager
Perform any other tasks requested by the organization’s hierarchy.

Requirements

First Degree in Social Sciences or related discipline with at least 2 years experience of direct work on OVC and HIV Prevention, care, and support projects
Proficiency in the use of computer.
Excellent skills in NOMIS, and EXCEL.
