I was so deeply honored to have been selected for the 2024 All-Washington Academic Team and to receive the Outstanding Student Award from Lower Columbia College. I am also a proud recipient of the 2024 Lower Columbia College Presidents Award tuition waiver to attend Washington State University Vancouver.

This journey has been filled with growth, resilience, and determination. After 20 years dedicated to raising my children and overcoming life’s challenges, including surviving breast cancer and escaping domestic violence, I returned to college with a mission to create positive change in the world.

I am proud to continue my studies dual majoring in both Psychology and Sociology while pursuing two Bachelors of Arts concurrently at Washington State University Vancouver, Psychology and Sociology with a minor in At Risk Youth, and hope to eventually work toward creating more services, support, and community networking opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent adults and their families.
