Duties and Responsibilities

Expand the company clientele by entering into contracts with more companies.
Ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of services provided by the company;
Providing organizational leadership and vision in developing and recommending to the Board annual business plans for the company;
Providing regular, thorough and prompt communication to the Board on key financial and administrative matters;
Defining and implementing business marketing strategies to increase business base and profitability;
Establishing a systematic business scouting plan and leverage existing resources to maximize market coverage;
Liaising with the Board to provide feedback regarding any trends, quality issues or areas of concern to ensure that prompt action is taken where necessary;
In consultation with the Board, interview and employ such other personnel that may be necessary for the daily running of the company;
Establishing, managing and updating a robust and efficient human resource data base of all personnel;
Effectively setting out goals and objectives for the team, including those for supervisory roles;
Managing contractual budgets in line with financial targets;
Ensuring all aspects of the required services are being delivered to the customers’ satisfaction and in accordance with the contract;
Completing effective health and safety assessments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of any incidents, involvement in subsequent investigations and providing input into health and safety committees and forums; and
Performing risk assessment and site evaluations as well as completing quarterly performance reports and billing schedules.

Requirements for appointment

Have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing and Strategic Management from a recognized Institution.
A Master’s degree in the above disciplines will be an added advantage
Have at least years five (5) of experience in senior management in medium to large organization.

Possess the ability to maintain strict confidentiality;

Ability to design and implement programmes and activities as required.
