Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized News Producer to join our team at Television.
As a News Producer, you will play a crucial role in the production of our daily news program.
You will be responsible for researching, writing, and producing news segments, coordinating with reporters and anchors, and ensuring that the program runs smoothly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Research and gather news stories and information for the daily news program
Write and produce news segments for the program
Coordinate with reporters and anchors to ensure that all segments are ready for air
Supervise and direct the work of video editors, photographers, and other production staff
Ensure that the program runs smoothly and on time
Stay current on local, national, and international news developments

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications or a related field
2-3 years of experience in news production
Strong writing and editing skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Experience with editing software such as Avid, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere is a plus.
