Professional Requirements


Must possess Certificate of Secondary Education
Must possess Diploma in relevant Information Technology/Information Communication Technology/Information Science) from a recognized institution
Must have at least three (3) years working experience as Clerical Officer I at Grade 5N or position of comparable duties and responsibilities.
Must be provide evidence of computer literacy.


Duties and Responsibilities


Receive correspondences/mail from various sources
Sorting and classifying mails
Open/ close files as required
Update and maintain files by filling documents
Control and trace the movement of files and documents within the organization
Processing and maintaining records and statistics for the departments
Maintaining efficient file indexing, folioing and filling
Custodian of all the records in the University Registry
Summarize documents
Composing routine correspondence
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
