Responsibilities


Conduct daily inspections of construction sites to monitor work progress and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
Identify and report deviations from project designs, technical standards, and safety protocols.
Ensure adherence to local building codes, environmental regulations, and occupational safety requirements.
Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, including photographs, notes, and compliance assessments.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to address and rectify non-conformities.
Verify that materials and equipment used on-site meet quality and specification standards.
Support the implementation of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) systems and procedures.
Monitor and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety practices.
Assist in the preparation and review of punch lists and final inspection reports before project handover.
Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions on quality, progress, and site challenges.


Qualifications and Skills


Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management,Architecture or a related field.
3 - 7 years experience
Proven experience in construction supervision, inspection, or site quality control.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA, local building codes).
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant site management/reporting tools.
Prior experience working in a similar capacity within a real estate development or construction firm.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Quality Management (ISO 9001) are an added advantage.
