Tracking contractual performance of construction contracts, and reporting compliances and deviations  
Collecting and processing M&E data for performance monitoring of capital projects.
Drafting M&E Frameworks for KenGen Projects and participating in review /evaluation of the performance indicators.
Updating project risk matrices and flagging out any risks that require urgent attention of the management.  
Reviewing contractors’ statements and valuation of works for conformity with Contract provisions and bill of quantities.
Supporting M&E section on tecno-commercial issues such as measurement of works, and contractual matters including drafting of contractual correspondence.
Preparing project closure accounts and end term reports.
Involved in preparation and monitoring of project budget utilization.
Ensuring proper documentation for all projects.
Preparing technical monthly and quarterly reports.
Preparing tender specifications and tender documentation.

Person specification
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

A Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering surveying, Building Economics, Civil Engineering, Construction Management; or equivalent
Graduate registration with relevant professional regulatory body
Proficiency in computer applications
Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
