Our client a (USAID) funded organization seeks to recruit Vaccinator Nurses to successfully support the implementation of the Kenya Health Partnerships for Quality Services (HIV, FP/RMNCAH, and WASH) in Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS). The implementation period will be 3 months to support COVID-19 Vaccination scale up uptake, with an aim of reaching the 70% target set by the county
Overall Responsibility
• Ensure safe vaccination of Adolescents and Adults with Covid-19 Vaccine at Facility and Community level
• Follow-up adverse event following immunization (AEFI) among vaccinated populations
• Maintain all infection prevention measures in line with COVID -19 guidelines while administering vaccinations
• Observe and maintain Cold chain and vaccine management principles.
• Ensures all clients are registered on M-Chanjo and Recommended platforms
Key Responsibilities and deliverables
1. Be conversant in vaccine forecasting and overall commodity management
2. Collect data accurately and use documentation tools
recommended by the programme including the electronic platform provided
3. Be Conversant in current immunization schedule for childhood, adolescent and adult vaccination
4. Be ready to participate in all the innovative approaches to reach eligible clients with vaccination
5. Provide excellent customer service during the vaccination process.

Minimum Qualifications
• Diploma in KRCHN, KRN, KRM with a Valid Nursing council license.
