GRADUATE ASSISTANTS GRADE 10  Ref: TUN/AD/38/09/24

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible to the Chair of the Department, a Teaching/Research Assistant:

Provides administrative support for Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs),
Supervises laboratory practicals, grades laboratory reports, CATs, and tutorials
Should register for a higher degree
Enforces safety in the laboratories
Keeps records of student grades on laboratory practicals and assignments
Assists in the administrative and research activities as may be assigned by the Chairperson of the Department.

Academic / Professional Requirements

For appointment to this grade a candidate;

Must have a Bachelor's degree of Upper Second-Class Honors level and above or equivalent in a relevant field, from a recognized University.
Should also demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research by registering for a Masters Degree.
