Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:


Have earned PhD in Medical Physiology from a recognized university


OR


Master of Medicine (MMEd) in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesia or Family Medicine) degree from recognized University. The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship Training recognized by the Medical Council of Kenya
Have a minimum of 24 research and publications points, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed journal papers
Have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level as a Lecturer or three years research/clinical practice
Be registered with a relevant professional body
