About the role:
We are looking for a Roam Hub Officer to work in one of our charging hubs. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the battery rental business, including managing inventory, customer service, and eventually overseeing other staff. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure. The ideal candidate must be able to lift 20kg weights as our batteries weigh 20 Kgs. You must also be comfortable working with heavy equipment, and have basic knowledge in electronic appliances or battery charging. The job has a lot of physical demands hence the ideal candidate must be willing to stand or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to perform tasks.
Key Duties and responsibilities:

Manage inventory of batteries and ensure that there is a sufficient supply at all times
Coordinate with customers to schedule battery rental and return
Monitor and maintain the charging station
Supervise and train customers on safety, and proper handling of batteries
Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that arise
Prepare and maintain accurate records of battery rental and return transactions
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Oversee daily operations in the absence of the business owner
Ensure that all equipment is in good working order, and schedule maintenance as needed
Provide basic technical support and troubleshoot charging related issues with the customers

Qualifications

Must have a relevant high school certificate or equivalent
Must have the ability to lift 20kg weights
Must have strong organizational and management skills
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Keen attention to detail
Must have the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Must be able to work well under pressure
Must be able to work with a computer
Knowledge of safety regulations and equipment maintenance is a plus
Basic knowledge in electronic appliances or battery charging
