Job Description

We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer all social media accounts associated with our company (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn).
As the Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express goals and objectives creatively.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
Set specific objectives and report on ROI
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
Collaborate with other teams, like content manager, content contributors and graphic designer to ensure brand consistency
Ability to use the Canva design software to create stunning designs
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover and profile pictures)
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and application

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year experience.
Proficient in Canva
Experience in digital marketing/social media marketing
Impeccable oral and written communication skills
Excellent internet research skills
Mastery of the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Snap and Tiktok.
Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms.
Creating and managing multiple social media accounts
Developing content to inform
Educate and engage the brand’s audience to increase awareness and achieve marketing goals
Working knowledge of the major content management systems
Social media analytics
Experienced in running targeted ads on social media sites
