OVERALL FUNCTION

As the Content Strategist / Storyteller, you will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that effectively communicates our brand story, engages our audience, and supports our marketing efforts.
You will create a variety of content types, including articles, blog posts, videos, social media content, and more, while maintaining a consistent brand voice and messaging.

Role and responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand's voice, mission, and objectives.
Identify key topics, themes, and content formats that resonate with our target audience.
Craft compelling and relatable narratives that effectively communicate our brand's value proposition, mission, and impact.
Weave stories that engage and resonate with educators, learners, and other stakeholders.
Write and edit high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, website copy, social media posts, and more.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other team members to create visually appealing and engaging content.
Develop educational resources such as e-books, whitepapers, webinars, and tutorials that provide value to our target audience.
Ensure accuracy and credibility of educational content.
Plan and create content for social media channels, fostering engagement and community building.
Engage with the audience through thoughtful responses and conversations.
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve discoverability and organic traffic.
Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on insights.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product to ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and product launches.

Qualification and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in content creation, storytelling, or content strategy, preferably within the EdTech or technology industry.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in clear and engaging language.
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to connect emotionally with the audience.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO best practices, and analytics tools.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
Understanding of educational concepts and trends in the EdTech space.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
