Key Duties and Responsibilities:

S/he will assist to conduct resource mobilization assessments of WEWE and local organizations using USAID Organizational Capacity Assessment Tool (OCAT) in the resource mobilization domain.
S/he will assist to develop resource mobilization strategies and plans for WEWE and local organizations from the gaps identified in the resource mobilization assessments.
S/he will assist to conduct a mapping of potential and current donors for the organization.
S/he will assist to develop a donor mapping report and database for WEWE and other local organizations.
S/he will assist to conduct Crowd Funding Campaigns on several online Crowd fundraising sites; Global giving; GoFundMe.
S/he will assist to build and negotiate the placement of donation boxes in places of high human transaction traffic.
S/he will assist to identify and negotiate positions on consortium applications (Assist local NGOs to search for Large NGOs that are applying for large grants and facilitate opportunities for the local NGO to secure a position in the consortium large bids).
S/he will assist to search for funding opportunities on the world wide web.
S/he will assist to write the full proposal, concept note, or expression of interest submitted.
S/he will assist to develop a social media strategy and content development to take the NGO activities online to have a footprint or a significant social media presence.
S/he will assist to organize fundraising dinners or fund-raising events.

Required Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor’s degree or HND degree in any social or management science or a relevant field from a recognized university.
Must have a second-class upper or first-class or upper credit or distinction.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience as a resource mobilization person or any related role.
Excellent report-writing skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to work long hours when needed.
Excellent analytical and research skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Technology suave i.e., the ability to use social media handles, the internet, and to send an email, etc.

Between N50,000 – N100, 000 monthly to cover transportation costs, meals, incidentals, and pension.
After a successful interview and performance evaluation, trainees are eligible to apply for full-time positions in WEWE subject to vacancies and availability of funds.
