Position requirements: -

Form 4 Certificate.
Certificate in Health Care Assistant training from a recognized institution
At least 1-year relevant experience.
Should demonstrate high level of compassion, integrity, commitment, professionalism, stewardship and God fearing.
Ability to meet set deadlines.

Keyresponsibilities/Accountabilities:

Dusting and bed making.
Assisting patients with elimination needs.
Assisting patients with feeding, taking bath andoral hygiene.
Supervising patients as they take their oral medications after a nurse has dispensed.
Dressing patients into different clothes afterbath or after soiling themselves.
Top-tailing neonates in Maternity ward.
Assisting mothers in salt baths and dressing their babies.
Ordering and receiving surgical items from the storeand buffer.
Pressure-area care of bed ridden patients.
Positioning patients for meals or different procedures.
Clearing waste from patients' rooms, clean trolleys and run errands.
Performing general duties as directed by the supervisor.
