The Role
We are seeking a qualified and passionate English Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction for Cambridge lower secondary and IGCSE programmes (Years 7 - 11). The successful candidate will inspire students to achieve academic excellence while fostering critical thinking and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum (Years 7 - 11) • Prepare students for Cambridge checkpoint and IGCSE examinations • Assess, monitor and track student progress and provide constructive feedback • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning and school activities • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress • Promote a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, or related field (Master's preferred) • Teaching certification/license • Training or certification in Cambridge curriculum delivery (preferred)
Experience Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years teaching English at secondary level • Experience with Cambridge lower secondary and/or IGCSE programmes (highly desirable)
Professional skills
• Thorough knowledge of Cambridge English curriculum and assessment • Excellent command of written and spoken English • Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities • Proficiency with educational technology and online learning platforms • Ability to inspire and motivate adolescent learners
